Hello and Welcome.
With a name like Heather (aka: a purple flowering plant), I suppose it was inevitable that I’d be working with flowers. My motto in life is to “Live Life In Full Bloom”. I’m passionate about family, flowers, my faith, and building friendships in our local community. From Arizona to Arkansas and several states in between, I’m happy to make my home in historic Long Grove, Illinois.
My business mission is to build community and connections through beautiful, locally grown flowers and educational workshops. When in season, I grow most of the flowers used in my floral designs in my boutique cutting garden. I’m formally trained in floral design by the legendary McQueens flower school in London and California’s premier flower school, Russian River Flowers in gorgeous Healdsburg, CA. I’m also blessed to be a member of the wonderful flower farming community of the Association of Specialty Cut Flowers (ASCFG).
